Okay, okay....
I know I haven't posted pictures in a while since Dave lost our camera cord at the Olympic Trials. So, I borrowed one for now, and here's a quick little re-cap of the last few weeks at the Tait household.
Since we are stuck indoors most of the time (honestly, when is the heat going to let up?!), we have had to be pretty creative with our use of time...otherwise we might end up watching "The Little Mermaid" 15 times a day. So, here is Ava crafting a frog out of Play-Doh.
...and here is Ella looking on. I just want to eat her up.
Ava still loves her swim lessons with Daddy. Here is a pic from a few weeks ago when her cousin Vanessa (far left) was in town. Ava's friend Brooklyn is in the middle, and Ava at right. This was the official "Lesson of the Tiny Toe-Heads".
During Ava's swim lesson, Ella hangs out with her bestie, Peyton.
And in case you didn't already know it, I am a nerd. I started taking violin lessons from a friend of mine about 3 weeks ago. Here is Ava imitating mommy playing the "Vi-Yah-Linnnn" (and no, that's not my toy violin. I use a real one, thank you very much. And yes, I still sound like a screeching freight train when I play. But I'm working on it.)
...and Ella playing the piano. And smiling. Always, always smiling. :)
Did I mention that she is always smiling?
Ava started her first dance class this summer (I may have already posted pics of this...can't remember). She is always singing the songs that she dances to, and loves prancing around in her tutu. Needless to say, this is one of the major highlights of my week.
And this is the highlight of my day, all day, every day. Still smiling... :)
These girls are growing so fast! But now you are officially updated...

LOVE all the smiling pics...she is too cute! I didn't know you were taking violin...that is awesome! Your girls are adorable Kim. I need to come over soon and visit!
I too want to eat up those babies of yours. I hope you know that I am a fellow violin nerd... I was a closet violinist from 4th grade to 10th or 11th grade baby! I demand a concert to see what you've learned thus far.
Love all the pics. Finally a great post with pics of your cute kids. Thanks for all the shout outs for my kiddos. We love swim lessons and I love that I get to chat with you weekly. We do need to get together for lunch and other play dates as well. That smiling Alla is just too much. Love it. See ya tomorrow.
